Fashion Friday- Some of our favorites of 2012

| Friday, December 14, 2012

Another year passed
If the Mayan calendar is right, it's OK,
because it's been one hell of a year in fashion!
Today, a year in review of
Artists Within favorite
makeup, hair and fashion for 2012

This year fresh face's dominated
The skin was illuminating with utmost perfection
Highlighting and Contouring techniques were applied in plenty
Brows were groomed to be natural yet bold!
Colored mascara became trendy and classy,
paired with graphic liner of varying degree's of bold

All looks considered, we have give it to lips this year!
Spring /Summer we saw pantone orange and candy pink pouts
Fall/Winter brought us rich hues like Bordeaux and Oxblood;
There is no denying that the lips stole the show in makeup for 2012!

Hair this year saw texture, movement
and a groovy influence
Waves, curls, braids and twists
were incorporated into all lengths
The messy bun became acceptable means of styling your hair
for any event, no matter the formality
Sleek pony tails of varying heights, with sweet accessories
and details

This year all looks were novice stylist friendly
 Our favorite look, though,
was anything with a 60's vibe

Twenty Twelve brought us memorable fashions
that will carry trend for years to come
Layering techniques, colored/printed denim,
color blocking, Grandma knit sweaters,
and accessories to die for, to name a few

Whatever your personal style, there was something
this year to compliment you.
We've chosen the leather and lace trend
paired with the loudest accessory of the year,
The Statement Necklace,
as our beloved

With another year almost gone,
we are excited to see and wear what 2013 has to offer!

Happy Holiday's Fashion Freaks!

Much Love From,
